Special Interest Groups

Special Interest Groups help members connect on a more personal level and tend to be rewarding and fulfilling. Form a group comprised of members sharing a common interest (Book Club, Mommy ‘n Me, Sister Mixers) with the intention of having this group create a bond with one another as well as the alumnae group. Interest Groups should have a chairman to be a liaison between the SIG and the alumnae chapter or association.

Anchors and Authors

This is an informal book club that meets on the first Monday of each month at 1:00 p.m. at a member’s home.  Contact Judi Mairs for more information.

DG Dining Divas

Our DG Dining Divas supper club gets together four times a year for casual meals on Sunday evenings.  Each dinner is centered around a theme selected by the hostess and members bring an item to share.  DG Dining Divas is about enjoying good food and socializing.  For more information and to be included on the invitation list please contact Marilyn Moore.

Bridge Bunch

Our Bridge Bunch gathers on the second Friday of each month from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.  Meetings are held at a member’s home and the hostess serves lunch to the group.  Currently the club has three tables of players.  Please contact Judy Moore for more information.

 

DG Special Interest Outings

Everyone is invited to join our outings to tour sites of special interest and afterwards lunch at a local restaurant. Please contact Tricia Ray for more information.
