Special Interest Groups

Special Interest Groups help members connect on a more personal level and tend to be rewarding and fulfilling. Form a group comprised of members sharing a common interest (Book Club, Mommy ‘n Me, Sister Mixers) with the intention of having this group create a bond with one another as well as the alumnae group. Interest Groups should have a chairman to be a liaison between the SIG and the alumnae chapter or association.

Anchors & Authors

Anchors and Authors is a monthly club for fellow Delta Gamma book worms. The group meets in a member’s home the first Monday of the month at 1:00pm for a book discussion and lite bites. Bridge

DG card enthusiasts meetup at a local restaurant the second Friday of select months to play one of the world’s most popular card games. Learn the meaning of a trick, trump, and slam bonus as teams compete for the most points. Sisterhood and fun are in store! DG Readers

DG Readers is a monthly evening book club for women who share a love of reading. Members meet at various locations the second Wednesday of the month to discuss the book-of-the-month, often with lite bites themed to the book. Decade Groups

Join other DG sisters initiated in your decade for a twice-a-term gathering. Sisters may play mahjong, go to happy hour, or enjoy a cultural activity while connecting with a small group of members in their age range.
