Dallas Area Delta Gamma Reference Information 2022
Hello Ladies! Thank you for visiting our site -- we’re excited to help you with 2022 Recruitment! It is our honor, as Delta Gamma Alumnae, to write recommendations for you.
Here’s information you’ll need to check off Delta Gamma from your to do list!
Secure a Reference Writer:
We highly recommend you find a family friend, teacher, neighbor or other acquaintance to write the required recommendation form for you. These women will be able to write a more personal and informative recommendation. Don’t forget to ask your high school friends who is writing their Delta Gamma rec, you may not realize you already know DG!
Some collegiate chapters allow their current members to write recommendations. Check with those women to see if the chapter allows it.
If you cannot find a DG alumna to help – email RecruitmentDeltaGamma@gmail.com and we’ll be happy to help.
What’s Next?
You’ll need to gather information to email to your writer. We submit all our recommendations digitally. You’ll need to upload and email a(n):
1. Personal Resume with:
- Your full name and name you prefer to be called, your address, telephone number, date of birth, your Facebook and Instagram handles
- Your school name, school address, class size, class rank (if applicable), SAT/ACT scores
- Your parents’ names, their addresses, and if applicable, where they went to college as well as if they were in a sorority/fraternity

Then, email these documents to your writer. Your writer may ask to talk with you to write you a better recommendation.
WHAT ABOUT LETTERS OF SUPPORT?
Delta Gamma does not require letters of support. Collegians only receive letters of support IF the writer knows the potential new member AND offers information not included on the resume or recommendation. If a letter of support is written, the alumna should send directly to the collegiate chapter.
